<p>Tool for operations such as bending or cutting comprises an actuating means (11, 12, 14, 20, 24, 25) movable relative to a tool body (13) and pivotally attached thereto. Also provided on the tool body (13) is a pusher block (18) and an abutment block (21) so arranged that upon actuation of the actuating means (11, 12, 14, 20, 24, 25) relative movement occurs between the pusher block (18) and the abutment block (21) from an inoperative position to an operative position. In the inoperative position the abutment block (21) is located in relation to the pusher block (18) such that an elongated workpiece may reside therebetween and by the interaction of the pusher block (18) and the abutment block (21) a bending or cutting operation is performed. There is also provided releasable attachment means (33, 34, 36) for the pusher block (18) and/or the abutment block (21) whereby pusher blocks (18) and/or abutment blocks (21) of varying types may be attached to the tool body (13) depending upon the particular bending or cutting operation requirements. </p> |
