<p>The connection for an injection line of an internal combustion engine comprises a threaded pressure connector made of the same material as the conduit or line. The connector is pressed against an internal cone of a receiving connector by a coupling nut by means of a clamping cone. Said connection is adapted to injection lines of smaller diameters and is characterized in that: a) the conduit (1) comprises a wall thickness between 1/5 and 1/3 of its outer diameter (D); b) each clamping cone (6) comprises on the side adjacent to the connector a round nose (10) of which the parameter decreases conically whereas the cooperating nipple (3) is comprised of the end of the line (1) bent outwardly about the nose (10) to form the sealing cone (9); c) the outer diameter (da) of each clamping cone (6) is comprised between 1.8 and 3 times the outer diameter (D); d) each nose (10) has an axial length (L) comprised in the area of the wall thickness (s) of the injection line (1) and a width (w") equal at least to 1/4 of the outer diameter (D). </p> |
