PURPOSE:To cooperatively operate two sets of electronic musical instruments through a simple wiring, by supplying a low frequency pulse divided from one of the musical instruments to the other musical instrument and always implementing a constant high-speed pulse between two pieces of pulses synchronously to the low frequency pulse. CONSTITUTION:The 1st electronic musical instrument C' is connected with the 2nd electronic musical instrument D' with a 1-channel data transmission line E. A clock pulse discriminator G connected to the vicinity of the 1st musical instrument C' discriminates a low-speed clock pulse expressed in a synchronous word out of key event data sent in series from the 2nd musical instrument D' through the transmission line E by time division multiplex, and inputs the discriminated clock pulse into a clock pulse processing device I as an input clock pulse. The processing device I transmits a high-speed pulse having a constant pulse number between adjacent low-speed clock pulses to the 1st musical instrument C' through a transmission line H. Therefore, cooperative operation of two sets of electronic musical instruments can be performed easily through a simple transmission line. |
