<p>PURPOSE:To establish automation and labor-saving in an outfitting line, by requiring no skilled workman and abolishing the cooperative work through the process of mounting heavy objects while making them to draw a predetermined travelling path. CONSTITUTION:With an engine 2 held in position where it is to be mounted on a body which is being suspended by a hanger or the like, a workman incorporates the engine in a body-side engine room. After completion of the incorporating work, the workman gives a sign of the completion to a computer 12, which sends an instruction to respective valve controllers 10a, 10b and 10c that they are moved to their original positions. Once each of hydraulic cylinders 5a, 5b and 5c is returned to its original position, the instruction of the movement to the original position is interrupted. The hydraulic cylinders 5a, 5b and 5c overrun by travel distance equivalent to a lag with which the hydraulic cylinders 5a, 5b and 5c stop their motion in response to the coincidence of the travel distance detected by displacement meters 7a, 7b and 7c with the travel distance set in a program.</p> |
