PURPOSE:To recover all the developer carried on the outer circumference of a developing roller in a reservoir by forming a control circuit so as to actuate the developing roller and a member for feeding the developer and also stirring it at the start of development, to stop said member when the development comes out of operation, and to stop said roller after the lapse of prescribed time from that time. CONSTITUTION:When development comes out of operation, a member 5 for feeding a developer and also stirring it is first stopped with a control circuit to stop the feed of the developer to a developing roller 9. On the other hand, the developer remains a little on the outer surface of the sleeve 7 of the roller 9 and on the side of the member 5 of a regulating blade 10, but since the sleeve 7 of the roller 9 and a magnet 8 continue rotations, the developer attaching to the sleeve 7 gradually arrives at a scraper 11 and scraped down, and at last, all of the developer on the sleeve 7 disappears, and is recovered in a developer reservoir 3. After that, the rotations of the sleeve 7 of the roller 9 and the magnet 8 are stopped with the control circuit. |
