Two-stage carburettor for internal combustion engines

A two-stage carburettor is proposed which serves for the mixture supply of an internal combustion engine. The two-stage carburettor comprises a first stage (1) with a first throttle valve (8) and a second stage (3) with a second throttle valve (13) in a second flow duct (10). In the full load range at lower speeds, the second throttle valve (13) is held by a pneumatic actuator (28) operating by way of an actuating angle piece (22) in a position in which it does not fully open the second flow duct (10) so that a higher air flow rate is available for preparation of the fuel. <IMAGE>
