Device for parking cycles

A device for parking cycles is specified, which is constructed from concrete blocks which have a rising and a recumbant limb and in which slots provided for receiving the running wheels of the cycles to be parked are bounded by the end walls of shaped members arranged next to one another. The slot widths are determined by spacers which are constructed in one piece with the shaped members and are configured in the shape of strips and/or prisms. A configuration of the cycle parking device which is both functionally favourable and aesthetically satisfying is achieved by a dropping configuration of the visible faces of the shaped members, in particular a concave configuration thereof. Said cycle parking device can also be used as a supporting wall for plant beds or cycle parking spaces laid out in the form of a terrace.
