The high-capacitance component can be used in electrical engineering and electronics, especially in microelectronics. The purpose and object of the invention is to provide a high-capacitance component which, while being of high quality, is compatible with microelectronics technology and has a high specific capacitance combined with high dielectric strength. The object is achieved, according to the invention, in that the dielectric between the electrodes comprises a layer combination of a conductive organic layer and one or more insulator layers, at least one of the insulator layers at the interface to the conductive organic layer being a polymer layer.
