PURPOSE:To perform reliable lock and to facilitate control, by a method wherein a lock member, engaging with a striker attached to a seat, is mounted to an openable body, and the inner diameter of the grasping part of the lock member mating with the striker is increased through manual control. CONSTITUTION:A space 4 is formed under a seat 1, and an openable body 5 is situated at the opening of the space 4. A striker 12 is located under the seat 1, and a lock member 11, engaging with the striker 12, is attached to the openable body 5. The lock member 11 consists of a holding part 17, engaging with the striker 12, and a pair of grips 15. By grasping the grips 15 and pressing them in a direction in which the grips move closer to each other, the inner diameter of the holding part 17 is increased, resulting in release of the holding part 17 from engaging with the striker 12, and this facilitates opening of the openable body 5. |
