1. A sprayer for liquid or pulverulent substances, particularly fire-extinguishing and fireproofing agents, consisting of a supply container (2), which receives the substance and from which a rising pipe (3) extends to a spray head (4), and a pressure container (5), which contains a compressed gaseous fluid and communicates with the supply container (2) through a shut-off valve (7), wherein the spray head (4) consists of a lower part (14), which coaxially adjoins the rising pipe (3) and flares preferably in bell shape, and a coverlike upper part (15), which is adapted to be tightly mounted on the lower part, and the upper part (15) is guided to be liftable relative to the lower part (14) as far as to a vertically adjustable stop (18, 19) against a weight and/or spring bias and opens between itself and the lower part an annular gap (17) as a result of the expelling of the substance in response to a preferably sensor-controlled automatic actuation of the shut-off valve (7) between the pressure container (5) and the supply container (2), characterized in that the spray head (4) is provided in its preferably flaring marginal strip (21), that is disposed radially outwardly of the seat (20) between the upper part (15) and lower part (14), with regularly spaced apart threaded bolts (18), which are parallel to the axis of the spray head and provided with nuts (19) or the like and serve to guide and as a stop for the upper part (15). |
