PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a fuel injection nozzle due to abnormal high pressure by operating the operation valve of an alarm device by installing a check valve whose bypass passage is opened into the oil sump of a fuel injection nozzle and further installing a flow adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 12 which communicates to an oil sump 11 has a check valve hole 14' drilled at the joint part between a valve stop base 13 and a nozzle body 1 and communicates to a fuel leak passage 12a for the operation valve 19 of an alarm device 18 through a ball 15 and a check spring 16. When the internal pressure in the oil sump 11 abnormally increases owing to the clogging of an injection port 9, the pressure of the fuel leaked from the check valve hole 14' is absorbed by an accumulator 17, and the valve 19 is moved in slidable ways against a spring 21, and a switch 23 is turned ON at the edge part of a spindle 22 without generating hunting, and an alarm device 24 is operated. Further, the fuel leaked by the opening of the valve 19 is returned into a fuel tank 20. Thus, a fuel injection nozzle is prevented from being damaged, and an engine can be operated safely. |
