In a scraper unit for the upward transportation of bulk materials, especially of aggregate, for the loading of metering hoppers for concrete preparation plants, in which the aggregate is stored in storage areas divided by box partitions and is stacked up against the metering hopper, on which, for its part, a chassis with a jib is provided, the jib (18) is suspended in the region of its free end on a guide rail (20) supported at a distance from the ground. With a scraper unit of this type, the static load-bearing capacity of the metering hopper, including the chassis and the jib, is increased, the accessibility of the storage areas remaining unimpaired. The scraper unit is preferably embodied in the form of a so-called radial scraper unit. <IMAGE>
