A holder for an electrical component, especially an annular-cored inductor (2), having connecting pins (5) in the grid size, which holder is suitable for use in printed-circuit boards, having a platelet-shaped insulating-material support (1) for the annular-cored inductor (2), having connecting pins (5) arranged in reinforced corner regions (7) of the insulating-material support (1), and having potential isolation, consisting of an insulating-material platelet (4) which is pushed into the annular-core opening, is of sprung design, and rests against the ferrite annular-core (3), sprung lugs (11), whose radius of curvature is matched to the external diameter of the annular-cored inductor, being integrally formed on the reinforced corner regions (7) of the insulating-material support (1) for additional potential isolation of the annular-cored inductor (2) from electrical components which are arranged adjacent to the annular-cored inductor. <IMAGE>
