In the case of a system for the pressure-tight fastening of a tube in a tube plate with the aid of a hydraulic fluid, having an expansion pressure generator, a pressure build-up pin and a high-pressure line (1) connecting the expansion pressure generator to the pressure build-up pin, it being possible to subject the pressure build-up pin on the one hand to a filling pressure of several hundred bar, on the other hand to an expansion pressure of several thousand bar, a stationarily arranged expansion pressure generator, separate from the pressure build-up pin, can be used even at very high pressures by making up the high-pressure line (1) from a plurality of pipe sections (2) which are in each case rigid in themselves and resistant to high pressure, by providing a plurality of high-pressure-resistant swivel connections (3) for connecting the individual pipe sections (2) to one another, and by the high-pressure-resistant swivel connections (3) making swivelling movements of the pipe sections (2) possible with respect to one another in the pressureless state or up to approximately the filling pressure of the hydraulic fluid. <IMAGE>
