PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to perform working easily by forming an opening part for stretching a discharge wire and a space part for a duct part in a body. CONSTITUTION:Fitting blackets 11, 11 are fixed on frames 10, 10 on both the sides of the copying machine body and the body 12 of an electrostatically charging device is horizontally fixed between a pair of fitting blackets 11, 11 concerned. In said body 12, the opening part 16 for fitting the discharging wire and the space part 17 for the duct part are formed by both side walls 13, 13 and intermediate coupling wall 14 and a one end coupling wall 15. The discharge wire 18 is stretched in the opening part 16 through insulating blocks 19 on both the ends, exhausting holes 21 to be openings for exhausting are formed on the intermediate coupling wall 14 and both the end parts of the space part 17 are closed by seals 21. Sucking holes 22 to be an opening for suction are formed on the one end coupling wall 15 and sucking tubes 23 are connected to the sucking holes 22 through sealing materials 24. Thus, air around the discharging wire 18 is sucked by the exhausting holes 20, the space part 17 for the duct part and the sucking holes 22 through the sucking tubes 23. |
