The invention relates to a panel-type element (8), especially a glass pane of a vehicle, comprising at least one component embodied as a peripheral frame of the edge of the element (19). At least one section of the frame consists of at least two profiled parts (5, 6), the first profiled part (5) consisting of at least one relatively rigid material and the at least one second profiled part (6) consisting of at least one material which is less rigid than the first profiled part. Said first profiled part (5) is a moulding of the edge of the element (19). The second profiled part (6) is a moulding of at least one pre-determined region of the first profiled part (5), and at least one third profiled part (7) is fixed to the first profiled part (5) by means of holding devices (9, 9') that can be brought into mutual interaction. |
