PURPOSE:To decrease the movable extent of a feeder to a roll-shaped turning electrode and to enable the long-term use thereof by the constitution in which the outside circumference of a feed rotor is connected to the electrode surface of the turning electrode and a feed plate is connected to a power source. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 146 moves upward and the top 160 of a turning electrode 134 contacts a longitudinally long electrode 128. A supporting base 142 which supports the electrode 134 is moved toward the rear of the right along rails 148 and the electode 134 in contact with the electrode 128 starts rotating and at the same time a feed rotor 176 starts rotating as well. When the electrode 134 and the rotor 176 are further moved, the electrode 134 arrives at the left front end of the overlapped part 112 of a cylindrical vessel body 114. When the electrode 134 arrives at the part 112, the part 112 is begun to be welded and the electrode 134 and the rotor 176 contact successively the part 112 of the body 114 and a feed plate 178, by which the part 112 is successively welded. |
