PURPOSE:To improve heat conduction to an adsorbing material such as zeolite by packing an adsorbing material in th voids between the packed expanded metal. CONSTITUTION:An adsorbing material 2 consisting of expanded metal 3, adsorbent 5 such as silica gel or zeolite packed in the voids 4 between said expanded metal 3 is packed in a storage tank 1 made of copper or stainless steel, etc. The adsorbing material 2 in the storage tank 1 is packed in a state enclosed by a netlike arrangement of the expanded metal 3 around its surface. Accordingly, the heat from the wall surface of the storage tank 1 is transmitted to all adsorbing material 2 packed in any part of the tank.
