The said bottoms form the toroid outer surface which, in cross section in meridional plane approximates to the shape of ellipse described by the equation R-2=a-2cos2ϕ+b-2sin2ϕ, where R, ϕ are polar coordinates of the toroid outer surface edges, in cross section in meridional plane, IϕI<=pi-arctg2h/(D-d+2t-2a) means for edges located RH from the axis of rotation, IϕI<=2pi-arctg2h/(D-d+2t-2a) means for edges located LH from the axis of rotation, a=(D-d+t)/[2(1+(1-h2b-2)1/2], b is the height of every aforesaid bottom, 2h is the distance between the points of joint of the ring with the upper and lower bottoms, D is toroid OD, d is the ring cylindrical part diameter, t is the ring wall thickness. ^ EFFECT: resistance against excess inner pressure of gaseous fuel, uniform shape casing bottoms. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
