PURPOSE:To attain one chip circuit integration by constituting a pulse width modulating circuit with a binary counter, a pulse width setting means, a digital comparator and a pulse generating circuit. CONSTITUTION:A digital data set by the pulse width setting means 4 is compared with a count value of a clock pulse at a digital comparator 5. The pulse generating circuit 6 inputs a coincident detecting output X=Y of the digital comparator 5, starts the pulse generation when an output of the 0th digit - N- th digit of the binary counter 3 is restored to the initial data, and stops the pulse generation when an output of the binary counter 3 is coincident with an output of the pulse width setting means 4. Thus, the pulse width PW outputted from the pulse generating circuit 6 is decided depending on the pulse width data set digitally by the pulse width setting means 4. |
