1. Process for the restoration of a distorted digital signal S, in which there is produced, from the signal S, an intermediate analog signal SI, the difference, as an absolute value, between the amplitude of the analog signal SI and the amplitude of the signal S being maintained at a value at least equal to a first predetermined value DELTA X, and the said signals SI and S are compared, the result of this comparison providing a binary signal SN constituting a restoration of the signal S, the said process being characterized in that the said first predetermined value DELTA X is less than the peak value of the signal S, and in that, in addition, the slope, as an absolute value, of the intermediate signal SI is maintained at least equal to a second predetermined value DELTA P, such that the difference in amplitudes of the signals SI and S remains, as an absolute value, less than DELTA X, the said second predetermined value DELTA P being less than the slope of the useful transitions of the signal S and the sign of this slope DELTA P being equal to that of the sign of the difference SI-S.
|
