A wound-healing agent containing momordicae semen extract is provided to promote the treatment of wound without side effects by local application or toxicity. A wound-healing agent comprises momordicae semen extract or momordicae semen fractions including Momordica saponin I as an active ingredient. The momordicae semen extract is obtained by extracting momordicae semen with water or lower alcohol solution.
