PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent the thermal deterioration of a trivet and improve its durability by a structure wherein a stopper is provided on a burner cap so as to position the interior burner ports of a burner at the location not corresponding to the tips of the claws of the trivet. CONSTITUTION:Two stopper projections 2d are provided on a burner cap 2a so as to keep at all times the configuration so that small burner port parts 2c, each of which is smaller than each of the remaining main burner port parts 2, are positioned at the locations corresponding to the respective tip parts 3a of the claws of trivet 3 and interior burner ports 4 are positioned at the locations not corresponding to the tip parts 3a of the claw of the trivet 3 such as the locations at the middle of the intervals between the claws of the trivet 3. The tip part 3a of the claw is cooled by the air supplied from the small burner port part 2c and the secondary air port 5 of the burner cap 2a and consequently prevented from being overheated. As a result, the enamel of the trivet 3, which is made of enameled enameling copper plate and therefore the serviceable limit temperature of which is regarded as up to 500 deg.C, is prevented due to the cooling action of the secondary air from being molten, resulting in showing no deterioration in use over a long period of time.
