PURPOSE:To effectively obtain excellent moistened air for air conditioning by a very simple constitution wherein one or more of two-fluid type nozzle is provided so that the spray of water atomized in specific conditions is made to flow under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:A duct 11 is shaped in a tube having an approximately uniform cross-sectional area, and air is sent from the intake port 11a of the duct to a blow-out port 11b on the other side thereof by a blower 13. A spray nozzle 12 of two-fluid type, which is provided in one or more, atomizes water supplied from a water pressure source 14, by means of air supplied from an air pressure source 15, and sprays forward the water thus atomized. While the air is made to pass in one direction through the duct 11 at a rate of 5m/sec or above, the atomized water whose largest droplet is about 50mu or below is sprayed in a quantity of 3l/hr or more along the flow of said air in the condition of absence of any obstructions within a range of two meters in front of the nozzle 12, which is provided at a central position being apart by 130m/m from the inner wall of the duct 11. This construction enables the attainment of a moistening efficiency of 90% or above, enabling large-scale air-conditioning moistening and high-moisture air conditioning.
