PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of condensate by a slinger ring without reducing a quantity of air, by fitting a condensate scatter preventing board to a part of a heat exchanger located on an extension of the slinger ring. CONSTITUTION:A propeller fan 5 is rotated and air streams indicated by arrows are generated. Then the condensate scattered by a slinger ring 10 fitted to the tips of the propeller fan 5 passes through the fins of a heat exchanger 8, collides with condensate scatter preventing boards 11 and 12 and a wide surface member 13 formed below the condensate scatter preventing board 12 provided on the side whereon the density of scattering condensate is high, and is returned to a drain pan 7 again. Therefore the condensate is not scattered outside. Moreover, since the preventing surfaces (b) of the condensate scatter preventing boards 11 and 12 are positioned at prescribed gaps from the surface of the heat exchanger 8 by spacer members (c), the air streams flow also over these preventing surfaces, whereby heat-exchanging actions are conducted. Consequently, the scattering of the condensate outside can be prevented, while a heat-exchanging capacity can be improved. |
