A tub (100) for a washing machine, and a washing machine comprising the same are disclosed. The tub (100) is formed through injection molding with a bearing housing (200) inserted therein, and the washing machine comprises the same. Here, the bearing housing (200) comprises a flange (210) extending to have a protruded part (216) and a recessed part (215) in a radial direction. The tub (100), and the washing machine comprising the same solve the problems of the conventional washing machine, and fulfil various requirements. The tub (100) has excellent strength and rigidity of the rear wall thereof, exhibits a strong coupling force with respect to the inserted bearing housing (200), and reduces manufacturing costs. Thus, the washing machine has all the characteristics of the tub (100). |
