<p>PURPOSE:To secure such a plastics valve as being excellent in mechanical toughness, by installing a plastics frame, in a closely pressed manner, in the peripheral surface of a kernel part of the plastics valve which temporarily assembles a valve disc in sphericity, an inside body, a body cap, etc. CONSTITUTION:A valve disc 1 in sphericity, a stem (a driving shaft) 2 for rotating and operating this valve disc 1, an inside body, a body cap, each of seat rings 3a and 3b being fitted in an opening end edge at the side of the valve disc 1 of these body and body cap 4 and 5, a packing gland 7 and a thrust washer 8 are all made up of plastics. Next, these members aforesaid are temporarily assembled together while building in a gland packing 6 and an O-ring 9 and, after being formed into a valve body kernel 16, a plastics frame 20 is solidly installed over each peripheral surface of the body 4 and the body cap 5 by means of molding pressure. Then, a head cap 22 is externally fitted in the top of the frame 22 being projected into a cylinder form of the valve body via an O-ring 21, thus a complete produt is secured.</p> |
