摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the working accuracy by inserting a relative position detector having detecting section and referential face at the opposite ends between the workpiece supporting face and the leading edge of tool then operating the relative moving distance between the table and tool with reference to the operating position of detector. CONSTITUTION:In order to set the grinding amount of a workpiece 1 or the movement of table 2, distance L between the referential face 11 and the detecting section 12 and the finish dimensions S of the workpiece 1 are inputted to an arithmetic unit to calculate the difference L-S. When working, a ball screw 7 is driven to move the table 2 toward a tool 2 and upon movement over the original point of a linear encoder 16 by the operated amount, the ball screw 7 and table 2 will stop automatically. Since the workpiece supporting face 3 will displace from the leading edge of tool 8 to the position departed by the distance corresponding to the finish dimension S of the workpiece 1 and stop, abrasion of tool 8 and the fixing state of sticking tool 4 will never influence onto the working accuracy of the workpiece 1 resulting in improvement of the working accuracy.
