PURPOSE:To simplify constitution, and to prevent deterioration due to the friction heat of a developer by executing magnetically the peeling of the developer in an area between the final carrier pole magnet and the first carrier pole magnet. CONSTITUTION:A magnet roll 3 is constituted so that the number of permanent magnets for constitution incorporated in a non-magnetic sleeve 5 is odd pieces, magnets 6a-6e are placed to position alternately the N pole and the S pole, and also, as for the final carrier pole magnet 6e and the first carrier pole magnet 6a, they becomes the same pole. No N pole is set to exist which is required for forming a developer chain for carrying a developer. As a result, a developer (a) carried to the fifth carrier pole magnet 6e becomes weak in a state that the direction of magnetic force remains as is directed to a normal direction to cease a flow of the developer (a). In this way, the developer can be collected without using a mechanical peeling means to simplify the constitution and prevent deterioration due to friction heat of the developer. |
