PURPOSE:To always stabilize toner concn. and to obtain a stable image record good in quality by moving a toner to an image bearing body at a time except developing time. CONSTITUTION:A toner consumed by development is supplied from a toner hopper 9 to a developing device 5. In the stirring region of the device 5, the toner supplied with stirring blades 17 is uniformly stirred in a developer, and conveyed to a developing region with a developing sleeve 16 to contribute to the development. The toner concn. in the developing region is always stabilized by thus moving the toner to the image bearing body at the time except developing time, and an image record good in quality can be obtained. |
