PURPOSE:To restore a state of anything trouble in a gap between poles to normality without fail, by detecting the time required for long from impressing of a voltage to the gap between poles to discharge starting, and discriminating the state between poles according to a distributing state of the time, while making it so as to control the degree of a rising increase in the impressed voltage. CONSTITUTION:The discharge delay time required for long from impressing a of a pulse voltage to the gap between poles comprising an electrode and a work to discharge starting is detected whereby a distributing state is detected upon processing statistically. Each distributing state, according to whether or not the gap is proper, and the detected distributing state are compared with each other, thus the gap state if discriminated. In accordance with this discrimination result, the degree of a rising increase in the impressed voltage is controlled whereby a state of anything trouble is made so as to e restored to normality. |
