PURPOSE:To suppress the cost for manufacture of watch bands by placing each work made from a metal sheet by means of punching and bending on a jig block to be transported thereon, by performing assembly using an assembly means in protruding motion, and thereby automating assembly of a watch band. CONSTITUTION:This work processing device 120 is a sort of press machine, to perform processing of two works simultaneously in every cycle of processing. Each work processed is sent to an aligning mechanism located in adjacency to be guided accurately to the position of the supply part in good alignment, and an external supply command, for example actuation of a fluid actuator, shall place it on transport means 23, 24 consisting of timing belts 5-8 at their locational position of a jig block 17. Then the belts are driven to transport the works to a position mating with assembly means 101, 102, and assembly is carried out through operation of these assembly means. This will enable automating of the assembly operation, and further the use of jig block in correspondence to works to be transported will facilitate changing of the type of item to be handled. |
