PURPOSE:To obtain predetermined damper resistance when various drawers, covers, etc. are opened by providing a damper means opened or closed by the reciprocating motion of a piston on the cylinder of an actuator device and forming the damper resistance by the orifice of the damper means. CONSTITUTION:When an actuator device 2 is applied as the ash tray case 10 of a car ash tray unit, it is arranged and fixed behind the ash tray case 10, and the tip of its piston rod 14 is brought into contact with the rear end wall of the case 10. The actuator device 2 energizes a piston 18 formed in one body with the piston rod 14 inserted in a cylinder 16 toward the case 10 side by a coil spring 20 and is also formed by screwing and fitting a plug 26 with a communicating hole 24 to the other end of the cylinder 16. A valve member 30 with an orifice 32 is provided on this plug 26 rotatably provided around a shaft 28 to form a damper. The valve member 30 is closed only when the case 10 is drawn out to provide the damper resistance by the orifice 32.
