PURPOSE:To control the air-fuel ratio appropriately, by increasing the quantity of fuel supplied to cylinders to which asynchronous injection is not applied, at the time just after asynchronous injection is effected. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control circuit 30 controls fuel injection according to a control program. That is, the operational conditions of an internal combustion engine is detected at first. At the next step, whether asynchronous injection is to be effected or not is judged. In case of YES, asynchronous injection is effected. Then, the quantity of fuel supplied to cylinders to which asynchronous injection is not applied is increased. Thus, it is enabled to control the air-fuel ratio appropriately. |
