PURPOSE:To simplify construction, facilitate assembling and adjusting operations and accurately supply a paper, by a method wherein an automatic paper-supplying part is operated by forward rotation of a driving motor, and the automatic paper-supplying part is stopped and a manual-insertion paper-supplying part is operated by reverse rotation of the motor. CONSTITUTION:When the driving motor 40 is rotated forward, a driving pulley 25 for automatic paper supply is rotated in a paper-supplying direction through a belt 50, an automatic paper-supplying roller 21 is also rotated in the same direction, and a separating roller 22 pressed against the roller 21 is rotated in a paper-supplying direction, whereby recording papers inserted between the rollers 21, 22 are sequentially supplied by one sheet at a time. In this case, a driving pulley 35 for manual-insertion paper supply and a manual-insertion paper-supplying roller 31 are rotated in a direction opposite to the paper-supplying direction, so that no paper is supplied by them. On the other hand, when the motor 40 is rotated reversely, the pulley 35 and the roller 31 are rotated in the paper-supplying direction through the belt 50, and a press roller 32 pressed against the roller 31 is also rotated in the paper-supplying direction, whereby the recording paper inserted between the rollers 31, 32 is supplied. In this case, a one-way clutch 26 prevents the automatic paper-supplying roller 21 from being rotated, so that no paper is supplied by the roller 21. |
