PURPOSE:To strike the time at regular time in nighttime, etc., at intervals of 30min including the regular time in time zones before and after it, and at intervals of 15min including the regular time in other time zones, by discriminating on a time zone and controlling the inhibition of a time-signal signals of every 15min. CONSTITUTION:A discrimination circuit 9 discriminates on a time zone by count outputs of a counter 6 which counts outputs of 15-min intervals from a frequency divider 5 and a 24-scale hour counter 8, and outputs the control signal corresponding to the time zone to close gates 19-21. Consequently, the inhibition of time-signal signals of 15-min, 30-min, and 45-min intervals from monostable multivibrators 15-17 is controlled according to the time zone to control time signal through a readout control circuit 11, melody storage circuit 10, etc. Time signal of every 15min including the regular time in the time zone from AM7:15 to PM8:45, every 30min including the regular time in the time zone from PM9:00 to PM10:45 and from AM5:00 to AM6:45, or only the regular time from PM11:00 to AM4:45 is carried out. |
