During the production of rigid moulds, moulding sand is used along with an isocyanate as a binding agent, whereby an amine in a gaseous state is used as a catalyst. In order to get the amines to form a gaseous state, the amine must be in a liquid state to which air pressure is brought to bear. From an environmental point of view, it is not advisable to work with amines in a liquid state. According to the invention, a product is manufactured which has the consistency which avoids from a viscous phase, which product within this digression can take the consistency of pasta, or a hard consistency, and which product contains an amine or a derivative thereof. A product is thereby obtained which, when subject to air pressure, releases amines in a gaseous state.<IMAGE> |
