摘要

NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (A is group of formula II or III; R<1> is group of formula IV-VI; R<2> and R<3> are H or OH). EXAMPLE:Digitoxigenin lactone. USE:A cardiotonic agent for the remedy of cardiac diseases such as congestive failure. It has extremely low side effects. PREPARATION:The objective compound can be prepared e.g. by dissolving the compound of formula VII in an organic solvent such as chloroform, adding preferably 1.2-1.5 time volume of an organic peracid (e.g. perbenzoic acid) to the solution, and carrying out the oxidation reaction preferably at 60-70 deg.C for 20min-24hr.
