APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING FUEL INJECTION TIMING OF DIESEL ENGINE

PURPOSE:To prevent malfunctioning of an injection timing controlling apparatus due to noises or other, by selecting the timing for detecting the actual ignition timing signal to stand only within the period of compression stroke in feedback controlling the injection timing of a diesel engine through detection of the actual ignition timing of fuel. CONSTITUTION:The actual ignition timing is detected from the output signals of a means 4 for detecting the actual ignition of fuel and a means 5 for detecting a reference crank angle position signal. An aimed ignition timing is obtained from the output signal of an operational condition detector 1. The injection timing is so controlled that the actual ignition timing coincides with the aimed ignition timing. Here, the timing for detecting the fuel ignition timing is selected to stand only within the period of compression stroke by a means for setting an ignition signal receivable period. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to prevent malfunctioning of the apparatus due to noises or other.
