PURPOSE:To create color gradation effect and sensation of three dimensions by providing a display of a scale, etc., on the surface of a transparent plate by the coloring of a fluorescent material, and then providing a translucent material which varies in plate thickness vertically and continuously and a colored material. CONSTITUTION:The display 1a of a scale, etc., is printed on the surface of the transparent plate 1 in ink of the fluorescent material, and then the transparent or translucent plate 2 which varies in plate thickness vertically and continuously and the cemented body of the colored plate 3 with light transmittivity and a photoconductor 4 are provided. Then, a pointer 6 colored with a fluorescent material, the transparent plate 1, and an ultraviolet-ray lamp 5 which allows the pointer 6 to luminesce are provided in front of the transparent plate 1. Thus, the display 1a of the scale, etc., and the colored surface other than the display 1a are not on the same plane unlike a conventional device and separated from each other, so that the color gradation effect and sensation of three dimensions are created. |
