PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the positional determination of a picture pattern with accuracy of a mum unit, by changing over a feed speed to an extremely slow speed directly before stopping while moving a frame to a predetermined position in an axial direction after allowing the same to return to the initial position. CONSTITUTION:When a longitudinal direction sensor 83a detects the longitudinal direction mark 85 on a film 71, a feed speed becomes extremely slow and, when the mark 85 is detected by a sensor 83b, feeding is stopped. In the next step, a frame 60 is moved to the initial position and, thereafter, a motor 63 is reversed to move the film 71 to a right direction so as to reach a predetermined position. Whereupon, the width direction mark 84 on the film 71 is detected by a width direction sensor 83 and the motor 63 is stopped but movement to the right direction is performed at a relatively slow speed. By this mechanism, positional determination can be performed with sufficiently high accuracy within a short time. |
