摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance efficiency of operation in an assembly line, by a method wherein assemblage, confirmation of operation and adjustment of the first and second chassis are separately performed on a unit basis. CONSTITUTION:A driving part 20 for automatic paper supply, a driving part 30 for manual-insertion paper supply and a driving part for a platen roller 40 are constructed in the first chassis 15a, while a driving part 50 for supporting an ink sheet and a thermal head 60 are constructed in the second chassis 15b. The operation of the driving part 20 and the operations of sensors 43, 44 for the leading end of a paper can be confirmed by assembling the chassis 15a on a unit basis, while the operation of the driving part 50 can be confirmed by assembling the chassis 15b on a unit basis. Further, by using a standard article of the chassis 15a, the relative positions of the axis of a platen roller 40 and heating elements of the thermal head 60 on the side of the chassis 15b can be adjusted, and the pressure exerted on the platen roller 40 by the thermal head 60 can be adjusted. On the other hand, the operation of a jam sensor 45 provided on the chassis 15a side can be confirmed by using a standard article of the chassis 15b.
