The invention concerns an anti-burgle protector on a hinge-mounted door with an adapted locking device that is designed to interact with a wooden door case or other equivalent material, with at least one striking plate (11) or lock (3) with a lock cylinder that can be attached to the said door case and/or door leaf, and a receivable reception part (14) supported by the door leaf or door case in a boss (15A) or complementary suitable boss (15) in an anti-burgle component (15). The parts (14, 15) are arranged so that they interact with each other when the door is closed in order to render the breaking of the door leaf/door case more difficult.By applying the invention, it is possible to prevent a gap (23) between the door (1) and the door case (2) becoming wider during a break-in with a crowbar so that the lock's (3) lock cylinder or cylinders (9, 10) are not aligned with the cylinder recesses (9A, 10A) and the door (1) can thus be opened.The said bossed anti-burgle component (15) is designed as a ball-shaped dowel (15), arranged to extend primarily at right angles out from the appurtenant support and the reception part (14) is designed as a groove (14) with a circular cross-sectional shape that extends along the direction of motion of the door with a reduction in width in the direction of the space (14) between the edge surface of the door leaf and the door case.
