PURPOSE:To provide a rubber vibration insulator for an engine mount or the like, which is adapted to intercept and absorb vibrations extending over the wide frequency range by connecting a natural rubber having a low ratio of dynamic/static spring constant and an isobutylene-isoprene rubber having a large loss factor in series to be united in a body. CONSTITUTION:A natural rubber piece 2 having a low ratio of dynamic/static spring constant (Kd/Ks) and an isobutylene-isoprene rubber piece 3 having a large loss factor are connected in series to be united in a body to form an engine mount or the like. Thus, the loss factor of the composite spring of the engine mount 1 is large, and the ratio of dynamic/static spring constant thereof is low for that, so that excellent kinetic characteristic can be obtained to intercept and absorb vibrations extending over the wide frequency range efficiently. |
