PURPOSE:To reliably decide a trouble, if sheets are abnormally loaded in a deck, by a method wherein the lowering distance of an elevator is checked as it is converted into a value per the number of loaded sheets. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is nipped by a pulley 20 and a press roller 19 at the input part of a stacker 5, and is conveyed in the direction of an arrow mark by means of a convey belt 6. The sheet is conveyed by a convey guide 8 and a feed roller 9, and is conveyed to storage parts A and B, which are situated in 2 spots, with the aid of a moving vertical deflector 10a and a fixed vertical deflector 10b. Thereafter, according to the output of a detecting means for detecting the loading condition of the loaded sheet, the loading means is lowered by an elevator, and based on a lowering distance thereof and the number of loaded sheets, a condition in which the sheets are abnormally loaded is detected. The lowering distance of an elevator is detected by an encoder which is operated in linkage with elevation of the elevator. |
