FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to advanced device for post lifting and lowering. The post consists of an upper part and basis where upper part if turnable relative to horizontal turning axis, which is in the post basis. There is a mating mechanism in the basis to limit turning angle of the upper post part. Fixing elements are intended for connecting drive unit to actuate mating mechanism between the first configuration when bringing into engagement happens and upper post part turning is limited and the second configuration, when engagement is released and upper post part can turn freely. If fixing is lost, fixing device can be selected between the first configuration through the intermediate configuration, when mating mechanism is actuated and the second configuration, where mating mechanism is disengaged. The device is equipped with two or more sensors controlling vertical alignment of the upper post part and/or fixing device configuration and/or mating mechanism configuration and/or upper part approaching ground.
