PURPOSE:To fold cloth without applying additional force thereto by allowing a guide bar to be alternately displaced on front and rear positions of a suspension bar every time the cloth is sent out by prescribed length by a feed roller. CONSTITUTION:When a feed roller 2 is driven and a fan is operated, cloth 1 sent out is, passing through between guide bars 3, suspended in front of a suspension bar 6 in a folded form. And, since air from an air outlet 5 is blown downward along the both surface and back sides of the cloth 1, the cloth 1 is pulled down, and in particular since the inside of a folded part is filled with air on one side, the cloth is suspended downward so as not to be wrinkled. When the cloth 1 of set length is sent out, the guide bar 3 is displaced behind the suspension bar 6. Since the cloth is successively sent out, it is now suspended in a folded form behind the suspension bar 6. |
