PURPOSE:To facilitate correction of zigzagging of a strip and changing of position in the direction of width of a plate by the use of a limited space, by installing a cylindrical guide frame in a line such as precise adjusting systems. CONSTITUTION:The guide surface, for a strip 1, of a cylindrical frame 2 is such that a cylindrical frame 7 is provided on its surface with a number of roller conveyor rollers 8 so that a strip can easily advance and the roller conveyor rollers 8 form the guide surface of the cylinder. Two sets of the upper and lower cylindrical guide frames 2 are coupled together at a drum end part, and a fulcrumpin 3 is located to the central part of the cylindrical guide frame and in a direction extending orthogonal to the center line of the cylinder so that the cylindrical guide frame can swing in the advancing direction of the strip, and the cylindrical guide frame and the fulcrum pin are held by a framework 4. The end of the cylindrical guide frame is coupled to the framework through a hydraulic cylinder 5, and the cylindrical guide frame is swung through operation of the hydraulic cylinder. By inclining the cylindrical guide frame by an angle alpha, a strip, coming out of the cylindrical guide frame, is moved by a distance d by a relation formula of d=piDsinalpha, wherein D is the outer diameter of the cylinder. |
