PURPOSE:To enable to make equipping and removing operations of a tire chain to and from a tire extremely simple, by making an intermediate part of a side chain in the tire chain detachable. CONSTITUTION:As an intermediate part of either one side of side holding stripe bodies 1, 2 which are side chains, is made into a detachable connecting tool 10, one end side of a tire chain is thrown into the back of a tire (a) through a lower side of a shaft (e) and the end side thrown into is pulled out to the front of the tire (a). Then both ends of the stripe body 1 are connected above a horizontal center line (f) by a connecting tool 5 by pulling up them. In addition to the above, the stripe body 1 is dropped backside by crossing over a tread surface (d), detaching both ends of the intermediate part of the stripe body 2 are pulled out to the front, both the ends of the stripe body 2 are connected by a connecting tool 6 with each other and the detaching both ends of the intermediate part of the stripe body 2 are connected by a connecting tool 10 with each other. |
