PURPOSE:To input a graph with accurate size by discriminating an end point whether it is an end point of a circular arc or an end point of a straight line, taking it as a connecting point, and providing a graphic data of straight line or circular arc to a line between connecting points depending on the discrimination. CONSTITUTION:An inaccurate graphic data from a line information input device 1 is coded by a constitution element coder 7 based on a structure dictionary in which the data of horizontal, vertical inclination and circular arc are inputted. Based on a structure dictionary 9 classifying a line into plural adjacent line element code trains, the geometrical structure and accessory information are obtained from each line at a geometrical structure analyzer 10 and the result is displayed on a display device 12. A data inputting personnel inputs a desired numeric data from a data input device 13 at each content of the accessory information of each line. A graphic data converter 15 calculates positions of both ends of a line and a center position and the direction of rotation of a circular arc at each geometrical structure code and forms a desired graphic data from the structure code, the content of accessory information and said numeric data.
